Dear Joy Partners,
It has been awhile since I last wrote to you, but God continues to bless our ministry. I would appreciate it if you could pray for the following items:
Opportunity to go to China
 This year, God has opened the door to China for Joy Partners.
We will be going to China in May and August. There we will continue to do the very successful keyboard training for local church members. We estimate that during both of these training
sessions, we will be able to train 120 church members who represent 60 churches.
Besides our president, Brother Huang who will be leading our keyboard training, another volunteer and I will be teaching
seminars dealing with family issues. Please pray for us as we are currently preparing our lessons. Also, pray that the Lord will
supply the needed $4,000 for this project that includes all living and travel expenses.
Trip to Korea
After China, I will be going to Korea. Billy Kim, the director of FEBC Korea has invited me to join them in celebration as a homecoming member of FEBC Cheju Island station's 50-year anniversary. My late husband John
was involved in the beginning stages of the radio station. I will be in Korea for one week. By the way, I have been a board member of US FEBC since last November. Thank God for giving me this opportunity to continue to be
involved with FEBC in this way.
Learning English through Singing CD
Last year, we produced a sample CD that was submitted to the Chinese government through a publisher in China.
We are still waiting to hear back from them to obtain the permission needed for the ISBN number. Please pray that the Lord will move the hearts of the people to grant us this permit.
Resources for Chinese Families
I would like to remind you about a very important project that
Joy Partners and Guidelines International have started. It is to produce an 8 part DVD series for China called, "Resources for Chinese Families". This much-needed series explains what the
Bible teaches about marriage and parenting. Our distribution goals are to place 5,000 of these DVD series strategically in the hands of Christian leaders in China who will use them in
teaching and training. Each series will cost $5 to produce, and Joy Partners has committed to help produce 1,000 copies. Therefore, we will need $5,000 for this project. Through
faithful and generous donations, we have received $3,480 so please pray that the Lord will provide the rest.
I will provide an update after I come back from China and Korea.
